That comes with a responsibility we take seriously: giving back.
OPENGIS.ch is excited to co-organise the QGIS User Conference 2026 together with QGIS User Group Switzerland in Laax, our home in the Swiss Alps and the birthplace of QField. A mountain-top venue, breathtaking views, and space for open-source exchange will make this a truly memorable community gathering.
QGIS UC25 in Norrköping brought together the global community for a week of collaboration, innovation, and connection. OPENGIS.ch had a strong presence, with keynotes, talks, and the first QField Day, highlighting the power of open-source GIS in action.
Building on top of the last release which introduced background tracking, this development cycle focused on polishing functionalities and building on top of preexisting features. The variety of improvements is sure to make our diverse user base and community excited to upgrade to QField 3.6.
