Currently thanks to<br \/>\nthe QGIS usergroup Switzerland and norbit.de I&rsquo;m porting python QGIS to<br \/>\nandroid. So stay tuned on that one.<br \/>\nOn the side, due to a <a href=\"https:\/\/bugs.kde.org\/show_bug.cgi?id=304240\">bug<\/a> in the latest release of necessitas I<br \/>\ncreated a workaround version of qgis. the problem is that many people<br \/>\ninstall the latest release and miss al the menues. So today I decided to<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/android.qgis.org\/qgis.apk\">upgrade the qgis installer<\/a> and added the possibility of seamlessly<br \/>\ndownloading the nightly builds and to clear the cache to save space on<br \/>\nthe device. For the moment the nightly build is just the custom<br \/>\nworkaround package but once the bug is gone I&rsquo;ll restart pushing real<br \/>\nnightlies.<br \/>\nnow I&rsquo;d like to ask the translators if you can have a shot at updating<br \/>\nthe installet strings (about 15) you can use github to edit xml and pull<br \/>\nrequest or .po files and pull request or just a plain email to me. <a href=\"https:\/\/hub.qgis.org\/wiki\/android-qgis\/Installer\">here<\/a> more infos on the translation process for the installer<br \/>\nMarco<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I&rsquo;m finally back on working on QGIS for android.
