Ah, how I love rhetorical questions to start a post.<br \/>\nAnd most of the time one\u00a0continues to work on a QGIS project which he has\u00a0prepared before. For me 99% of the time, I start QGIS, move the mouse to the top left over \u00ab\u00a0Project\u00a0\u00bb go to \u00ab\u00a0Recent Projects\u00a0\u00bb and select the one I want. If I am lucky my hand is stable enough to hover \u00ab\u00a0Recent Projects\u00a0\u00bb and not \u00ab\u00a0New From Template\u00a0\u00bb which I actually never use.<br \/>\nNo longer!<br \/>\nAt OPENGIS.ch we just introduced a nice \u00ab\u00a0Welcome Page\u00a0\u00bb to QGIS which lists the recently used projects.
